The position This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with internal and external stakeholders, gain experience in overall project management, gain experience in public affairs and work globally. The position also includes supporting team members with various day-to-day tasks across our projects and initiatives. Your tasks will include:
  • Monitor, follow and brief on various health and corporate policy issues globally.
  • Support the building of a Global Public Affairs community including capability building and supporting the annual Global Public Affairs Summit and monthly Global Public Affairs calls.
  • Help prepare events and meetings for [xxxxx] executive management / Global Public Affairs held internally and externally with political stakeholders. Help produce briefs and backgrounds and support with logistics.
  • Ad-hoc project support, including collecting data and background information, creating presentations, meeting organization.
    • As an intern you will support our work to effectively push for political action which helps to improve lives of people living with chronic disease. The position will allow you to strengthen your skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs. Practicalities
  • Working hours: full time.
  • Start date: 1 August 2024 (precise dates to be agreed).
  • Internship period: a minimum of 6 months with the possibility to extend to 12 months.
  • A Danish full-time work permit is required.
  • The position will be based in our headquarter office in Bagsvaerd, Denmark.
    • Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows. Qualifications You are a Student who is currently doing Master’s degree within a relevant field such as Political Science, International Business and Politics, Business Management, Global Health, or another similar field, with a minimum of 1-2 years of study remaining. To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Strong communication and project management skills
    • As a person you are an intellectually curious individ, with a strong will to succeed, a lot of energy, and the capacity to work both individually and in groups. Besides, you s ee yourself as a person who gets the job done on time without sacrificing the quality of your deliverables. About the department Global Public Affairs & Patient Relations (GPAPR) is part of the Global Public Affairs & Sustainability area in Novo Nordisk. We aspire to be a proactive and solutions-oriented partner to patients and policymakers in the joint ambition to raise the standards of care in our therapy areas and help solve society’s fundamental challenges. The role is anchored in the International Government Affairs & Policy team, which is responsible for providing clear strategic direction and guidance on public affairs, policy positions and stakeholder management to contribute to society and secure the right framework conditions for [xxxxx]. The team focuses on key account management in main markets, leading EU relations through our Brussels team and home market corporate and public affairs.
