The position
As our new Manager of Business Support, you will be responsible for establishing and lead a team of highly skilled professionals, collaborating closely with senior leaders and other stakeholders to ensure effective cross-organizational collaboration and timely progress within strategic initiatives.
You will report directly to the CVP and be part of the CVP Management Team, providing strategic sparring and executive support and represent them in various initiatives, meetings, and events. It is key that you have or can develop an understanding of quality related matters within contract manufacturing, global production, due diligence and business integration.
Main responsibilities will include to:
• Establish a high-performance support team – driving cross functional collaboration and utilizing digital and best practice solutions to support our ambition of cutting complexity and ensuring quality for patients
• Support the Management Team with data analysis, business intelligence, decision making, performance management and business transformation activities
• Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to get an understanding of local processes, challenges, opportunities, and needs
• Proactively engage in identifying improvement opportunities, drive cLEAN improvement projects and facilitate change communication
• Lead the development and deployment of a the CVP area strategy This position will give you the unique opportunity to shape the new role.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has previous leadership experience and solid experience related to Project Management (i.e. planning initiatives, engaging people and driving a cross-functional business agenda and results) and Business Intelligence (i.e. collecting data, producing insights and presenting recommendations).
To succeed in this role, you:
• Hold a relevant master’s degree
• Demonstrate high level stakeholder management at all organizational levels and globally
• Have experience in being a sparring partner to senior leaders
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Are fully proficient in English
Experience within strategy development and consultancy will be seen as an advantage.
On a personal level you have high level of integrity, are openminded and curious, and therefore constantly on the lookout for how to improve processes. You are a team player, a fast learner with an ability to drive change, and you utilize your relationships with stakeholders to achieve success in your projects and tasks.
About the department
The CVP area if newly established to support a revised Novo Nordisk Strategy, where used of acquisitions, partnership and contract manufacturing will play a key role in supplementing the future organic growth.
The CVP area consists of four VP areas; Due diligence and Integration Quality, responsible for quality related matters around business development. ET QA who is responsible for Quality of tablet production and manufacturing with emergent technologies. And GCM DS QA and GCM DP QA, responsible for Quality Assurance of Global Contract Manufacturing.
