The position As a Senior Project Manager, you will become part of a team of project managers that drives initiatives across the project to ensure fast delivery of cohesive high-quality solutions. That could be within the fields of planning, estimating, collaboration, interface mgmt. or another area where you identify a need for an efficient problem-solver. This role requires that you can identify problems, propose solutions, and implement these solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will not be responsible for a technical scope but be a central contributor in ensuring that the Work Package Owners deliver on their scope. The position is part of the project excellence team anchored under the Project Mgmt Office supporting the central design and delivery of an Aseptic Production facility. The project delivers solutions to four locations across three continents. Main responsibilities include:
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and team members
  • Identify and resolve project barriers and conflicts
  • Develop and implement project management best practices, methodologies, and tools
  • Continuously assess and improve project delivery processes
    • The successful Senior Project Manager will understand the lifecycle of the project, be able to identify opportunities for improvement, and build an environment that ensures continuous improvement. You will report project progress to senior management and stakeholders and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role is based in Kongens Lyngby. Qualifications To be successful in this role you need to have:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in a related field with at least 7 years of project management experience
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to handle competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Bonus points for experience working in the pharma industry

The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.
