The Position As an Innovation Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, building, and maintaining partnerships with external companies, start-ups, and universities to drive innovation and support our strategic goals. You will work closely with our internal teams to identify areas of opportunity and develop a portfolio of innovative projects and initiatives in collaboration with our external partners. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Identifying and evaluating potential partners and opportunities for collaboration
  • Developing and managing a portfolio of innovative projects and initiatives
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external partners and stakeholders
  • Leading cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver results
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress of projects and initiatives
    • Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field
  • +5 years of experience in innovation management, business development, or a related field
  • Track record of building partnerships with external companies, start-ups, and universities
  • Experience with industry 4.0 purpose and technologies
  • Fluency in written and verbal English

About the Department The job will be placed in a newly established department called Biotech & Rare Diseases (BRD) Innovation & Tech Strategy. The department is part of BRD Manufacturing Development (MDev) with base in Denmark. BRD MDev consists of approximately 340 colleagues who direct the product and process development for all BRD, driving innovation when it comes to industry 4.0 technologies and expansion of the product portfolio. Together we drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes and in the way we work to make our products reach as many patients as possible. Working at Novo Nordisk BRD is part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, which is a global production network producing and supplying quality pharmaceutical products for Rare Diseases, obesity and diabetes. BRD are also to build new Biotech competences to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for Novo Nordisk.
