Advanced Quality Engineer Do you want to use your quality mindset to develop superior medical devices to improve the lives of our users worldwide? If yes, then you might be our new Advanced Quality Engineer we are looking for to join Novo Nordisk Device and Delivery Solutions (DDS). Apply today! The Position As an Advanced Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our development projects with setting direction for quality in terms of internal and external requirements. This is achieved both proactively by supporting the projects in making the right approach to quality, and by reviewing and approving design control documents. Your main responsibilities will also include: Finding the best way of achieving both quality and other project objectives, and set a clear direction is therefore a key responsibility as a Quality Engineer Being the QA partner for some of our device development projects within Diabetes, Obesity, or other newer therapeutic areas Getting to collaborate with many different stakeholders both internally in Novo Nordisk, and with development partners in which case you ensure quality oversight of our international partners Being part of the development process from early innovation until launch Since you will join an international team, please consider that the role will include some amount of travel. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: A Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, pharmaceutical, science (e.g., microbiology or biochemistry), or other relevant academic fields Minimum 2-3 years of experience within QA and/or medical devices Ability to constructively engage your stakeholders and navigate in cross organisational stakeholder landscapes Experience from working in an international organisation is an advantage As our corporate language is English, we expect you to be fluent both in writing and spoken. About the department DDS Quality is responsible for covering all quality aspects in the Device R&D portfolio of mechanical devices, devices with embedded electronics and software, and Software as a Medical Device, as well as Quality Management System activities, quality oversight of our suppliers, and hosting audits and inspections. We are an international team of almost 30 passionate Quality Assurance experts with diverse backgrounds of which most are based in Hillerød, Denmark – and 2 in a Device R&D satellite in Seattle, USA.
