Do you want to lead projects from clinic to launch for our next generation injectable treatments supporting the world's circular economy? Then you might be the new associate project manager we are looking for! The position
We are looking for an experienced project manager and your responsibilities will be: You will be responsible for the development of primary packaging systems for injectable drugs like vial/ syringe systems and/or Combination Products like manual pre-filled syringe projects. Act as first point of contact in project governance and with drug project managers. You will be responsible for the development plan, resource planning, timely delivery on projects. Lead the project team behind primary packaging development for clinical trials/market from ideation phase to drug product launch. Ensuring timely delivery of design/products for clinical trials and documentation for submission Ensuring suitable agreements and good collaboration between stakeholders Coordination with drug-development and production are key to success. You will work closely with colleagues in drug and device R&D, Production and Supply Chain to assent to the requirements. The assignments carried out by the department are diverse as we deliver to all parts of Novo Nordisk. For this reason, you will have the opportunity to be part of the solution for a variety of challenges. You will become part of a social and diverse team with an informal atmosphere. Qualifications You hold a MSc/BSc degree in engineering or another relevant field within the natural sciences You have minimum 2 years of project management experience within the pharma industry and education preferably within technical engineering or the like, could be product development or production You have experience in primary packaging for pharmaceutical products, medical device or clinical development You must be fluent in written and spoken English As a person, you are motivated by working in a creative environment identifying solutions to design challenges. You thrive in taking the lead and don't mind starting the hard discussions or making decisions to move on in a dynamic environment. You take pride in delivering on your milestones, and you motivate your colleagues with a positive attitude. You like to motivate and ensure deliveries through a team effort. About the department You will join the Primary Packaging Development team situated in Devices and Delivery Solutions, a business unit within the global Development organisation and located in Hillerød in the greater Copenhagen area with state-of-the-art R&D facilities. Devices and Delivery Solutions has the mandate and responsibility to innovate and develop the most innovative delivery solutions for the entire portfolio of Novo Nordisk’s pharmaceutical products. The unit is comprised of project management, engineering, and technical functions spanning across all competences required to deliver on a diverse portfolio of drug/combination product and device projects. You will be part of an organisation of highly skilled people – maybe the best in the industry.
You will join a new, growing, and dynamic department consisting of 16 highly skilled and ambitious developers/ specialists and project managers, people who works dedicated developing and implementing primary packaging solutions in Novo Nordisk. Our department is characterised by an international environment with colleagues having a background from all over the world, like Iran, India, Spain, Morocco, France, Sweden, Poland, Denmark, and Finland.
