People Leader in BI, Data Management & Analytics Do you have a flair for using data to build and deliver value and insights? Are you passionate about people attraction and development and about implementing strategy within BI (Business Intelligence), Data Management & Analytics? We are looking for two strong people leaders with genuine interest in #BringDataToLife, as well as being part of a great leadership team, to join Novo Nordisk supporting the needs of our patients. Join us in our fantastic journey! What’s behind the title? You will lead a growing department of up to 25 engaged colleagues. In this role you will mainly have the following responsibilities:
Attract, grow, and develop the talent within BI, Data, and analytical capabilities, who are members of cross functional product teams across BI, Data Management & Analytics and the business areas in Novo Nordisk. Act as a role model of our Novo Nordisk Way, you will collaborate closely with the Product Owners of our platform and software products, ensuring we have the right people in the right teams. Guide, coach and motivate the people in your department and thrive by seeing other people succeed through implementation of the business strategy that you have been part of shaping.
As part of the job will be a member of the Global BI, DM&A leadership team. In this team you will be jointly responsible for the global BI, Data Management & Analytics Strategy, working together with the rest, oversee the implementation of use cases, ensure we are balancing business development of agile principles versus business execution. Eventually, you are part of safeguarding and developing our culture and you generally contribute to ensure that BI, Data Management & Analytics is a great place to work.
Competencies on our radar We imagine our future People Leader to have:
MSc or similar graduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, HR or other relevant fields 3-5 years of experience within leadership ideally combined with working in agile organisations that have driven the adoption of cloud technology across several functions. Experience working with BI, Data Management or Advanced Analytics or AI domain for several years Proven track of records of being a trusted and respected leader in the teams you have been responsible for. Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
As a person, you are very nice to be around, gets the job done, you understand the importance of securing a safe and sound environment driving high performing teams with a nice and relaxed yet productive atmosphere. Finally, you must have experience in managing key senior management stakeholders through effective communication, driving adoption of the BI, Data Management & Analytics Strategy across all relevant levels of the organisation. The team waiting for you You will join our international organisation of Cloud and Software developers, Data Scientists, Analytics and Data Engineering Partners, BI consultants, Product Owners, and Architects. BI, Data Management & Analytics is an international, diverse, high performing organisation with a variety of technical and analytical backgrounds. The responsibilities of the department ranges from data acquisition to curation of data for advanced analytics, BI and data science. We are cloud native and we work primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. We evangelise the opportunity to apply data, BI, and advanced analytics, initiating analytical initiatives and driving significant business impact in Novo Nordisk. We have built and are operating the enterprise data lake in the cloud to enable our vision #BringDataToLife.
