The position
In your new team, a strong collaboration with your team leader colleagues is essential. You will be referring to local management but will collaborate closely with our support functions in Wash & Sterilisation, Formulation, Logistics, IT/automation, Technical Support, Em Operation, Technical Operation & Solution, Training etc. As an Associate Manager, your key responsibilities will be to:
· work closely with your employees to keep a high level of professional passion and engagement to drive performance by maintaining the team spirit.
· create a culture ready to challenge systems, and processes and ensure ongoing optimisation by being a highly visible manager who provides feedback and coaching to your employees.
· by knowing your process in depth, you can help employees on the shop floor to deal with their problems and improve performance.
· set direction for your team, ensure transparency, and follow up on performance by being approachable and communicating clearly and effectively in close dialogue with your peers in other leadership positions.
Working in close collaboration with your manager you will help maintain unity in the department and contribute to reaching long-term strategic goals.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you:
· hold a degree in Natural Sciences, Biochemistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, or similar
· have leadership capabilities and a visible passion for taking up the challenges a leader will meet.
· communicate in Danish and English
Preferably, you are experienced in LEAN management and can develop and deploy systems and good routines that help your employees work effectively when you are not present. We expect you to be a social and positive person, who works in a proactive and solution-oriented manner. Knowledge sharing comes naturally to you, and you work systematically and with dedication to create extraordinary results together with your employees and other stakeholders. You have a strong sense of quality and know the importance of complying with the standards and regulations of an aseptic production environment.
About the department
In Formulation & AP Support we are a part of a new formulation and filling plant in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) at site Hillerød. The plant will deliver Penfill® to our patients domestically as well as abroad. The department is responsible for delivering washed and sterilised capsules, plungers, tanks, and formulated products, provide steam, water and air for the for the other departments and finally we are responsible for monitoring the aseptic environment in the production. We are proud to work in a newly established facility that supports the market with insulin to change the life of people living with diabetes.
In Formulation & AP Support, we are dedicated to deliver strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk in crucial ways by constantly improving our operational effectiveness and applying a strong lean operational system.
