Do you want to be a part of Novo Nordisk's most significant expansion project in Hillerød to expand our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity for Biotech production? The finished facility will employ approximately 340 colleagues and feature state-of-the-art technology for new processes and products. This expansion will enable us to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases, including rare diseases, and promote life-changing careers for our employees. The positions We are looking for several candidates both within operations/process and engineering to join our cleaning (CIP/SIP) package in charge of design and function of the Clean-in-Place procedures across the facility , with special focus on multiple utensil washers and autoclaves. Our key players will define the standard for:
  • Washing machines within the 25L project, which include a total of 10 equipment’s: 7 parts washers in different sizes and 3 IBC washers.
  • Autoclaves within the 25L project, which includes a total of 6 equipment’s in different sizes.
  • This will involve driving the project execution for the washing machine or autoclave and to be involved in collaborative design development with suppliers and with oversight to ensure the solution is built according to the design. Alongside the team, you will be at the core of ensuring the best possible design, delivering a solution we can be proud of in 20 years! Your key tasks will include:
  • Participation in project execution that will enable a streamlined implementation of the washing machine and autoclaves.
  • Review of supplier design documentation.
  • Align on the technical decisions together with our local project team, central core team stakeholders and the suppliers.
  • Review of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) protocols and reports, oversight during qualification tests, supporting project team with qualification, deviations etc.
  • Writing SOPs, participating in yearly re-qualification etc.
  • You will work in collaboration with a wide network of stakeholders on a local and global level! This will include the Work Package Owner (WPO), Washing machine or autoclave specialist, IT/Automation specialist as well as engineering partners during the project phase. Some travel activities must be expected. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • A degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science or similar.
  • +3 years’ experience from pharmaceutical production, biotechnology or similar industry or + 3 years’ experience with washing machine equipment, autoclaves or similar. It’s a bonus if you have experience in cleaning or sterilization processes.
  • Knowledge and interest in exploring and driving new technologies or standards.
  • Stakeholder management and working cross functionally and globally.
  • Full proficiency in oral and written English.
  • As a person, you have a focus on quality, have a problem-solving approach and the drive to create new solutions/ standards and challenge the status quo. With a visionary and innovative outlook, you can look to the future to help promote process optimization and digitalization alongside colleagues. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills to build relations. For this position, you are required to be fluent in spoken and written English.
