Then you might be our new Director of one of our four Purification Plants (PP) at Novo Nordisk, at the Product Supply Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (PS API) Manufacturing in Kalundborg. Apply today for a life-changing opportunity! The position As the Director of Purification Plants, you will enjoy the leadership responsibility for purification of marketed products to our patients. Together with your team, you will work on: optimization of processes investment projects LEAN meeting the needs for API delivery. Your work will combine strategic day-to-day decision-making with long-term strategy and aspirations while sparring with the teams and your managers. You will work closely with highly skilled peers from Quality Assurance (QA), Purification, Utilities, Business Support and Maintenance regarding delivery, staffing, budget, projects, and optimisations. Together, you will ensure that production meets all quality needs. You will manage team leaders, attend board meetings and meetings on the shop floor. Qualifications As a leader, it is important that you can motivate, prioritise and set direction. You are b usiness-oriented and you follow up on strategic targets and initiatives to track progress and mitigate where necessary.
We also imagine that you have: a relevant scientific background (at least Master level education within chemistry, pharmaceutical process engineering or similar) and vast GMP and LEAN experience several years of people leadership experience within GMP and production, focused on coaching and developing the team experience with quality systems, and preferably, ISO within API production; strong emphasis on quality, LEAN, optimisation, analysis and creativity combined with deep insight within API manufacturing processes solid understanding of how to navigate in a complex work environment and matrix organisation excellent English skills (both spoken and written). On the personal level, others will say that you are a highly motivating leader ready to set direction and new standards; good at taking initiatives and showing decisiveness, and a positive and open-minded person who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You are also strongly focused on collaborating and communicating with stakeholders at the highest level. About the department Join Novo Nordisk Manufacturing in Kalundborg in times of expansion! Novo Nordisk invests more than 18 billion DKK in three new manufacturing facilities and expansion of an existing facility in Kalundborg, Denmark. This will establish additional capacity across the entire value chain from manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients to assembly and packaging.
