The position You will have a key role across PS API Technical Production Support (TPS), supporting the department in providing data access and creating process transparency to support both daily and strategic decision-making. In collaboration with the teams, associate managers, and department manager you will drive data access, data analytics, and the performance transparency agenda across the department. Your daily tasks include sparring and support to understand complex processes by data, provide an overview and visualize improvement opportunities. Your main tasks will be: Support the department strategy through data visualization (dashboards) – both to ensure data-based decision-making - and to provide input to our strategic roadmap toward our long-term ambition. Use advanced analytic skills in Alteryx and Tableau to visualize complex big data in a simple and understandable way for relevant stakeholders and the management Structuring and harmonizing various types of data as well as implementing and maintaining local data to integrate data and solutions from different sources Develop, support adoption, roll-out, and maintain digital initiatives or tools e.g. PowerApps, PowerBI Identify improvement opportunities in a structured way and help drive, facilitate, or participate in the digital agenda in TPS Provide improvement recommendations based on Industry best practices Drive, facilitate, and participate in a structured way for improvement initiatives applying: PDCA (Plan Do Check Act), systematic problem solving, process mapping, or other LEAN methodologies by use of data. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you hold a master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, engineering, IT - or any other relevant field. You have at least 2 years of experience in data science and data analytics, maybe from a long-term student position or a full-time job. You have proven outstanding analytical abilities to see through complex contexts and an eagerness to gain and apply new knowledge supported by a well-developed improvement mindset. You have excellent collaboration and communication skills, and you are fluent in English and preferably know some Danish. In addition, we will look for candidates that: Provides strong capabilities within data analytics tools, e.g. Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI or equivalent Business Intelligence tools Experience or knowledge within Microsoft Power Platform, SAP, SQL, and LEAN is a plus You are innovative and enjoy optimizing across functions within a LEAN mindset Take responsibility, work independently, and make decisions with the respect to connected data or processes across the supply chain. Can "take the lead" if needed, maybe based on your project management skills You have a structured way of working and can handle several tasks at a time and keep an ongoing focus on results Additionally, you are curious and try to solve issues on your own, but do not hesitate to ask for support when that is required to secure success in your deliveries. About the department PS API Technical Production Support is a central department located in Kalundborg, Denmark. We are approximately 30 colleagues in the department. We educate all PS API calibration technicians, conduct calibration of API measuring equipment, as well as purchase and deliver quality-controlled spare parts to all PS API production facilities to ensure compliance and high product quality.
