Planner/Senior Planner Are you looking for an exciting career within Novo Nordisk and our construction projects area? Novo Nordisk Product Supply API in Kalundborg is looking for someone with planning experience to join our Project Controls team in API Investment Office. The positions As we are looking for several new colleagues to join our team, we would welcome applications from any candidates with experience, education and interest in planning - and we will evaluate how your profile fits into the open positions’ requirements.
For the (Senior) Planner your primary responsibilities are: Being responsible for advanced planning, scheduling, change management, and progress measurement. Take active responsibility for the coordination and organization of multiple sources of schedule input/data into the Master Schedule and deliver project status reports. Perform Critical Path and Near Critical Path analyses Prepare the scheduled contribution to the Monthly report and specific reports/ presentations. Ensure that the schedule related to vendors, suppliers, engineers, and construction contractors of the actual project is provided as feedback into the planning and scheduling systems. Develop good relationships with all stakeholders We expect you to plan and help coordinate all Novo Nordisk Scope Activities in the Project schedule. Also to facilitate and lead interactive planning sessions within the project team, and monitor Key Performance Indicators such as schedule variance, percent complete, and resource planning/tracking. It is also expected that you support the development and training of your colleagues. For the Planner, your primary responsibilities will be to: Work in project scheduling tools (Primavera, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint) Work with the Project team to ensure all progress is entered into the schedule and is up to date with the intended plan. Create Visual Reports to help the team efficiently understand goals and objectives. Help create baseline schedules and schedule impacts for multiple scope packages. Work with Cost Team to assist in creating accurate cost forecast reports. Develop good relationships with all stakeholders Qualifications For the (Senior) planner, you should have at least 5 years of Experience using project scheduling tools (Primavera, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint) For both roles, we expect you to: Have a relevant academic degree as an engineer, Cand. scient, Cand. Pharm Speak and write English - and maybe know a bit of Danish Experienced within the Construction or Life Sciences Industry is a big advantage On a personal level you are committed, enjoy working as part of a team or your own and work in an analytical manner. You find challenges exciting and can maintain the overview by addressing multiple tasks. You are robust and flexible in a constantly growing project environment where priorities often change.
About the department In Novo Nordisk and Product Supply, Diabetes API plays an essential role, and our road to success is clear. We want to be the best manufacturer of diabetes API and deliver high-quality products with regulatory compliance and competitive costs – that is our contribution to the business. Product Supply API, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, produces insulin and GLP1 for the treatment of diabetes and obesity. In campaigns, we also manufacture intermediates and APIs for the R&D unit. The production starts with a fermentation process where gene-modified yeast cells are fermented, followed by a recovery process and finally a purification process. Furthermore, Diabetes API produces Glucagon through the recovery step and then sends it on to Biopharm. Glucagon is used for the treatment of a hypoglycaemic attack. PS API is large-scale manufacturing that delivers to PS IFP (Product Supply Injectable Finished Products). MDEV facts There are approximately 2,000 employees across PS API. The vast majority work in Kalundborg. Diabetes API also has a department in Bagsværd.
