The position As the EHS Manager, you will oversee a team of highly skilled professionals specializing in External Environment, Health, and Safety. Your responsibilities will include: Establishing robust processes for risk assessments, environmental initiatives, and maintaining a comprehensive health and safety approach during both the design phase and on construction sites. Collaborating with EHS teams, you will foster and enhance a safety culture across all project activities at any given time. Serving as a trusted advisor to senior management, you'll exude confidence when presenting to larger audiences. Leading a team of 15-20 individuals across three areas—External Environment, H&S Design, and H&S Construction site—you'll promote a collaborative environment, encouraging the sharing of experiences and learnings to ensure a unified and high-quality approach within the EHS domain. As an effective leader, you should embody empowering leadership principles, employing a structured problem-solving approach that guides and supports others. Your role involves coaching, developing, and continuously improving the solutions we create. Qualifications To be eligible for this role, it is expected that you have: Professional experience working with Health & Safety aspects in an industry or construction setting as well as in a management position Bachelor's degree in any relevant academic discipline Experience with the risk assessment of construction and/or chemical processes Experience with GMP requirement, preferably English proficiency in both written and verbal communication On a personal level, you draw inspiration from achieving success through collaborative efforts and enjoy cross-team collaboration. About the department To bring innovative treatments to as many patients worldwide as possible, we consider expanding our API manufacturing capacities to support the company portfolio of future oral and injectable pharmaceuticals.
