Are you an experienced leader with a proven track record in leading a larger production unit? Do you have a strong knowledge of validation and qualification processes? Are you passionate about continuous optimization and improvement using LEAN principles? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join as the Director for PS API Manufacturing II Fermentation.
The position
As the Director for PS API Manufacturing II Fermentation, you will have the following responsibilities:Lead and manage one of the largest fermentation facilities within diabetes and obesity products. Utilize your leadership experience to effectively lead a large and complex unit, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output. Apply your expertise to ensure compliance with industry standards within operations, validation and qualification processes. Drive continuous optimization and improvement initiatives using LEAN principles. Foster a culture of effective collaboration and communication within the department.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:Proven track record in leading a large production unit, preferably within the Life Science industry. Strong knowledge of validation and qualification processes. Experience in continuous optimization and improvement using LEAN principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Desire to make a difference by leading the production of life-saving products.
About the department
PS API Manufacturing II Fermentation consists of approximately 140 dedicated employees from various job groups, including operators, technicians, skilled workers, admins, process engineers, and leaders. You will join an international environment with colleagues who take pride in producing life-saving products that meet the highest industry standards.
You will also be a part of the senior leadership team of Manufacturing II, overseeing an organization of 800 employees covering the entire value chain within API production and supporting processes.
