We are looking for an experienced individual who will support all global P&O IT solutions in relation to Privacy and Compliance related topics, keeping the highest standards of data protection and regulatory compliance and always ensuring that our employees' data are save.
You are to design and implement privacy and compliance strategies, manage all compliance and risk assessment for our projects and solutions.
We especially expect you to: Develop and maintain a Privacy and Compliance Strategy tailored to the P&O area that aligns with global data protection laws, including GDPR, PIPL, and other relevant regulations. Collaborate with P&O and HRIT departments to ensure that privacy by design is embedded in all solutions and processes Support internal and external audits focused on P&O solutions to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations Prepare and maintain documentation regarding data processing activities, including data flow maps and processing registers Provide day-to-day operational guidance on personal data protection compliance Support the creation of privacy impact assessments on new and existing P&O projects and solutions Identify and evaluate the potential impact of data breaches including defining and supporting the implementation of risk mitigation controls. In addition, you are able to lead privacy training and awareness programs for relevant employee groups. You are also to act as the go-to expert for privacy and compliance matters within the HRIT department, with potential for a wider scope over time.
Good stakeholder management skills while we expect you to work closely with P&O Global People Compliance, Information Security, and compliance teams to ensure a cohesive approach to privacy across the organization.
Candidate profile Relevant educational background, courses or experience Professional certification in privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a privacy compliance role. Knowledge of global data protection laws and experience in applying them in an organization. The area is anchored within Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) and team members are placed closely to P&O stakeholders for optimal collaboration. We work according to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and ways of working to efficiently support P&O’s digitalisation journey. Our department consists of approximately 100 colleagues and is spread across Denmark, India, and the US. The atmosphere is informal and friendly, and colleagues are ambitious, curious, and skilled – complementing and challenging each other to deliver their best.
