As an Environmental Partner you will have the following responsibilities:
• Set direction for and drive our daily processes within the environment, e.g., permits and collaboration with municipality and Ministry of Environment of Denmark, waste handling, wastewater handling, managing CO2 emissions, soil, protection and monitoring of ground water, energy, and water consumption
• Establishing economical- and sustainability assessment to improve circularity throughout NNPR
• Collaborate within the whole value chain to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks within environment and content responsibility
• Collaborate with project members and act as the environmental subject matter expert for projects to ensure minimum environment impact
• As part of your daily routine, you will also work on shopfloor, having daily dialogues with various stakeholders to establish professional relationships fast and effectively.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
• Minimum relevant master’s degree within environmental engineering, environmental science and legislation, sustainability or similar
• Full working proficiency in both Danish and English, both orally and written
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with environmental work, ideally from pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production or laboratory environment.
As a person, you will thrive in this role if you have high personal drive and a positive attitude enabling you to pursue key focus areas and achieve results. You are good at communication and training, and you can communicate complex subjects in a simple way. You have a qualitative and analytical mindset with a proactive, structured, and systematic approach to tasks. Your colleagues will see you as highly motivated, flexible, and friendly, but also persistent and able to get things done.
About the department
You will be a part of the Environment, Health & Safety department at NNPR with 15 highly engaged, experienced, and qualified seasoned professionals, technicians, administrative and a student assistant who work diligently to support the entire value chain, from Research & Development to Production and Sales & Marketing.
