Novo Nordisk Pharmatech is looking for a Finance Partner to Sales to join our rapidly growing organization. You will partner with our commercial team to manage financial activities, ensure effective sales controlling, and provide high-quality financial insights. The position

As a Finance Partner to Sales, you will control and partner our commercial organization to manage the financial activities. Working closely with our sales, supply chain teams, and your seven future colleagues in the finance team, you will ensure effective sales controlling. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Forecasting: Consolidate sales forecasts, providing a comprehensive view of expected sales performance.
  • Sales Support: Assist sales managers in preparing for sales meetings, ensuring they have the necessary financial data and analysis.
  • Business Intelligence: Leverage your BI competencies to enhance data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization.
  • Sales Dashboard Development: Enhance our sales dashboard to improve visibility and tracking of key sales metrics.
  • S&OP Process Support: Support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, integrating finance, sales, and supply chain perspectives.
  • Financial Guidance: Provide financial guidance, training, and support to the commercial organization, helping them understand and manage their financial responsibilities.
  • Month-End Activities: Conduct month-end closing activities and provide monthly forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Process Optimisation: Optimize and continually develop financial processes, models, and reporting, driving efficiency and effectiveness in financial management.
  • Demand Planning: Analyse sales trends, market conditions, and other relevant factors to forecast product demand accurately.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Manage ad hoc tasks related to the organization’s sales portfolio, responding quickly and effectively to emerging needs.

Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, controlling, sales, or supply chain analytics post-graduation
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English

You should possess strong analytical skills and be able to simplify complex subjects for diverse audiences. About the department

Join our highly engaged and dedicated Finance team, whose responsibilities reflect the diverse needs of the company. Our team handles tasks in product costing, cost controlling, sales analysis and controlling, budgeting, compliance, and management reporting. We work closely with the line of business to provide high-quality financial insights, supporting decision-making processes. We also collaborate with finance organizations across Novo Nordisk.

The company has close to 400 employees and the core task of the business is to enable better medicines through biopharmaceutical manufacturing for Novo Nordisk as well as for the global industry. NNPR are in the coming years expanding an already wide product portfolio within Enzymes, Synthetic Molecules and Resins. The company has the full value chain with both R&D laboratories, production facilities and a commercial organisation, plus a wide range of support departments on top.
