If so, we have an exciting possibility for you as a LEAN Partner in Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) QA. The position
In CMC QA, we want to ensure that LEAN is more than just a set of tools – but just as much a culture and a mindset that needs to be continuously developed in our organisation. In this role, you will be the primary driver of the LEAN agenda in CMC QA, linking LEAN to our strategy and key priorities.
Your primary focus will be bringing the LEAN mindset into our CMC QA organisation and ensuring that the cLEAN supply system principles are implemented in our area. Other main responsibilities:
- Represent a culture of continuous improvement and LEAN project management behaviours.
- Drive and support strategy implementation with the CVP business partner and anchor it into daily business activities.
- Identify focus areas for process improvements and drive execution.
- Use data to drive changes and identify and prioritise the following optimisation projects.
- Driving relevant optimisation projects, focused on shopfloor coaching at all organisational levels and educating our manager and employees in our LEAN standards such as performance boards, systematic problem solving and process confirmation. You will report to QA Director Casper Yding, and together, you will own the CMC QA LEAN strategy. You will be based in Måløv but will also work out of Bagsværd, as CMC QA are divided into several sites in greater Copenhagen. Office presence expected at minimum three days weekly. Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable engaging and proactively advising stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and is good at motivating people for change. You possess strong strategic and analytical skills, are persistent, and have a “can-do attitude”.
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Hold a master’s degree in engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, business management or project management.
- Proficient in the LEAN toolbox, supported by several years’ experience in operational excellence within daily operations.
- It is advantageous to have experience with data tools like Power BI, Power Platform, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, or similar.
- Are fluent in English, while knowledge of Danish will be considered an advantage.
You must thrive in working strategically with CMC QA MGMT and find energy in driving optimisation projects and coaching on all levels. Also, it would help if you had a data-driven mindset, always aiming to improve processes and seeking possibilities for digitalisation where necessary.
On a personal level, you are a team player, but you also thrive in working independently and do not back down when someone challenges you. People see you as a front-runner while still embodying leadership in an empathic and respectful way.

CMC QA supports the entire value chain in the SVP area CMC. We are 160 dedicated QA colleagues working out of Bagsværd, Måløv, Søborg and several places in the US. The CVP area is growing and will continue to grow in the coming years.
