We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with a passion for craftsmanship and business outcomes who will shape, develop and implement digital solutions, ultimately unfold one of the biggest business opportunities we have in Novo Nordisk.
You are to join one of our cross-functional scrum team(s) (Product Owner, UX/UI Designer, Front- and Back-end Engineers and Scrum Master). The team(s) deliver solutions to our clinical trial area, specializing in re-thinking how we enhance the digital capabilities of the clinical trial process in Novo Nordisk. Together with your team you will help evolve best practices for software development in this domain. Within Digital Accelerator we are also building out standards and sharing them across all our product teams to enable faster time to market and driving better outcomes for our customers and colleagues.
You will: Drive and build value-driving and innovative digital solutions from the ground up with a user-centric approach Contribute with good engineering practices Advocate for solutions that provide real value for the business and our users Help drive operational maturity and DevOps mindset Explore new technologies and tools to apply during the development of these solutions Develop subject matter expertise within a technical domain area Work closely with technical and business stakeholders As a technology choice, we are primarily using Microsoft Azure and .NET/C# for Backend, Frontend is Vue.js, the Mobile App is being written using ionic, and we are building full end-to-end digital solutions using Cloud and CI/CD pipelines. As we are pioneering the digital transformation of Novo Nordisk, we expect you to challenge and encourage the organisation as well as take part in establishing a strong internal community to share knowledge and takeaways.
Which competencies will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you should come with a strong understanding and hands-on experience within broad software development i.e. within system architecture, coding for scale, communicating possibilities about what can be built and maintained, as well as love to experiment and build MVPs.
We expect you have: 3+ years’ professional experience and will likely come from a similar position Minimum a BSc degree in Software Development, Computer Science or other relevant field Solid .NET and hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, especially around PaaS/SaaS service offerings DevOps Mindset Broad knowledge of Azure resources and Azure DevOps is a plus Knowledge of event driven architecture is a plus Experience with Mobil App development is a plus, but not a need You are passionate about software development and could have a presence on GitHub or other OSS platforms with publicly available code that will help us assess your skills. You also have interest in building products that runs in production in a global Cloud setup.
