The Position As Market Access Director, you will be responsible for defining the reimbursement strategies, shaping the environment, establishing key value proposition elements as well as leading evidence generation for Novo Nordisk future launches in cardiovascular diseases in Region SEEMEA. You will act as a centre of excellence within Payer Evidence & Market Access and provide strategic guidance to the organisation on what it will take for us to shape and set the scene for optimal market access and commercial success. As we get closer to launch, it will be your responsibility to advise our affiliate management teams on HTA/reimbursement submission approaches as well as evidence strategies and tools to support additional funding, negotiations, policy shaping and regional access uptake. When relevant, you will represent Novo Nordisk in engagement or external negotiations with HTA agencies and Ministries of Health. Moreover, in this position you will
  • Drive close collaboration and alignment with medical, commercial, regulatory and other colleagues across the Novo Nordisk organisation as well as potential partner organisations.
  • Represent the reimbursement & evidence requirements for access in SEEMEA affiliates in various internal fora and ensure the right evidence & tools are generated to enable broad access and gain of market share.
  • Maintain an external expert network and drive advisory boards and other external stakeholder meetings.
    • Qualifications The ideal candidate possesses significant ‘learning agility’, is forward looking and solution oriented. Someone who can thrive in a highly dynamic environment with the necessity to embrace complexity and mobilise the organisation to deliver results without direct authority. Moreover, you need to
  • Hold a Master’s degree (preferably in pharmaceutical sciences, health economics, public health, epidemiology or similar)
  • Have minimum of 5-7 years’ experience within pharmaceutical industry or equivalent
  • Have deep knowledge of HEOR, HTA and Value Communication theory and practice and thorough understanding of market access and value-based pricing fundamentals
  • Be experienced in developing HTA/Reimbursement strategy & executing on Evidence generation across multiple healthcare settings; Experience in Cardiovascular diseases
  • Have excellent project management and communication skills
  • Be fluent in English
