Location: Søborg - Denmark Do you want to break new ground and deliver innovative digital solutions to patients worldwide? Are you an engaged and motivating leader who has experience with Project Management or Program Management in the field of Health Software and Software as Medical Device (SaMD)? Digital Health develop digital therapeutics and solutions for people living with Diabetes and other serious chronic diseases. We are searching for a Director to lead our team of project managers and UI/UX researchers and designers. Digital Health is an exciting area that delivers innovative digital solutions which will supplement Novo Nordisk’s drug offerings. You will work closely with the Digital Health business unit, developing new digital products, enabling new ways of interacting with patients and new business models. About the department You will head up the Product Management unit in Digital Health Solutions with a focus on Project Execution, within Health Software & SaMD, delivering on the Digital Health digital aspirations. Novo Nordisk continues to invest in in-house built digital products and in Digital Health Solutions, we are partnering with the business to build innovative digital products , which increase demand for cross-project initiatives and coordination. We are looking for a thought leader who is eager to drive maturity in execution of internally developed products, as well as partner or supplier build products – someone who can set the direction, provide guidance, and drive people development. You will become a part of an inspiring, and ambitious work environment, where modern software development methodologies, tools, teamwork, and a growth mindset is key. The position You will be working with sophisticated business challenges in Novo Nordisk’s digital area and will be exposed to stakeholders across the organisation. By utilizing your leadership skills and knowledge about Project Management, platform development and digital product management you will play an instrumental role in strengthening Product Management leadership in Digital Health, helping our Project Managers and UX/UI Designers and researchers challenge status quo, establish new ways of working and adapt best practices in collaboration with the Digital Health Solutions teams. Moreover, you will manage tactical and operational needs from the Project Managers and UX/UI Designers – direct people management, recruitment, team health and personal development and capacity planning across the Digital Health. Your Responsibilities will include
  • Direct Manager for 6-10 Project Managers and UX/UI Designers, ensuring well-being and development of employees
  • Collaborate closely with the business to create the best possible environment for high performing teams.
  • Support and engage product teams to adapt best practices and improved ways of working.
  • Daily responsible for the Digital Health Product Management team and being the escalation point.
  • Develop and driving the Digital Health people strategy incl. sourcing of talents – make/buy, partnering and/or growing talents internally, as well as recruitment, retainment, attraction, and rotation.
    • Qualifications You have a master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other related fields, you have +8-10 years employment with innovation and IT as primary job content (80%). Additionally, you have working with IT Project Management or Program Management within the field of Software Development, potentially within Health Software and SaMD, and have at least 3 years of proven track record of leading teams. You possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and advocate convincingly about the value of project excellence, particularly to stakeholders who are used to making decisions based on cost or efficiency as a central purpose for new initiatives.
