The Position We are looking for 2 Associate Managers to lead 2 teams under the same department and Management group. The teams are part of the department Business Support and will have a central role in executing on the new strategy while at the same time supporting line of business. One Associate Manager will lead the team in the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS & Training). The team consists of 10 employees covering EHS, Training, Onboarding and Sustainability. We will be rolling out the NN concept “Training for Competence” and experience within the field will be an advantage on top of the standard experience as a leader. The second Associate Manager will be leading in the cLEAN & Process Optimization team. The team consists of 10 employees covering LEAN Partners and Supply Chain Specialists. The main tasks will be to:
  • Manage team to achieve high engagement and performance through direction setting, motivation, coaching, and development.
  • Prioritize and efficiently allocate team resources and coordinate assignments with management teams.
  • Initiate and drive projects across Business Support to improve processes and develop the supply chain.
  • Drive Portfolio management
  • You will also drive strategy processes across Sourcing Operations (SoOp) supporting Business Support mgmt. at all levels and the Director on all areas where needed. Both managers will be a member of the Business Support management team and be expected to play an active role from day one. We focus on scaling the capacity of Sourcing Operation to serve more patients while at the same time prioritizing time to scale our own leadership. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you:
  • Hold degree in Engineering, life sciences, Business or similar.
  • Have some people management experience.
  • Communicate fluently in English.

About the Department As Associate Manager, you will be part of the Business Support, which is responsible for driving the strategic development and support of Sourcing Operations (SoOp) that has the overall responsibility for the incoming supply chain in Novo Nordisk and consists of 500 dedicated employees.
