The position As a Senior Global Scientific Recruitment and Retention Manager, you will play a key role in driving the engagement of Global Expert Panel(s), which includes global and local KOLs, as well as expert nurses, who are involved in the clinical trial(s). Your responsibilities will include gathering scientific and operational input from the external experts, which feed into the development of patient recruitment & retention strategies, and subsequently effective communication plans to secure its implementation. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing educational materials for participants and site staff in the trials, ensuring that all are kept informed on relevant matters throughout the clinical trial. Other responsibilities include:
• Driving global meetings & events (physical and/or virtual) to engage external panel members
• Supporting affiliate colleagues in engaging their local panel members in trial-related activities to drive patient recruitment and retention, trial start up, completion readiness & results communication activities
• Ensuring site staff engagement throughout the clinical trial
• Collaborating closely with diverse cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors
• Contributing to continuous improvement by assessing deliverables, enhancing processes and identifying more effective ways to achieve goals
You will have the opportunity to work very closely with stakeholders from Global Medical Affairs, Medical & Science and Clinical Operations in HQ as well as colleagues in affiliate offices across the globe. The position is based in the HQ office in Søborg, Denmark. Approximately 10-20 travel days a year should be expected.
Qualifications:
We're seeking candidates who fulfill the following prerequisites • A business, science, or medical degree (Master’s or Ph.D.)
• 6+ years of relevant experience from the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in both global and local roles
• fluent in written and spoken English
• Experienced in management of complex clinical and/or medical projects and driving strategy
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders and experience in communication disciplines, on- and offline
• Ability to build trust & collaborate closely with stakeholders to solve challenges In addition, you are situationally aware and able to identify the need for change management in project planning and execution. You are curious about improvements and persistently seek opportunities for development. You are motivated by ambitious targets, and you can channel knowledge to facilitate decision making and project progress. As a person, you are ambitious, flexible and have a strong drive both as a dedicated team player as well as independently.

GMA is responsible for driving the scientific dialogue with KOLs and Health Care Professionals (HCPs). We are part of the R&D organisation in Novo Nordisk, one of the world’s most successful pharmaceutical companies and the market leader within diabetes care and obesity and exciting development programmes in other serious chronic diseases.
