What’s in it for you? The position as IT Solution Architect is anchored in our Development IT area and you will join a team of Domain and Solution Architects with focus on the setting the direction for the domain architecture across the Agile Release Trains (ART’s) within the Development business area. What you will be doing? As Solution architect you will be responsible for defining and communicating the shared technical and architectural vision across ARTs/areas in Development and for aligning the many solutions across multiple ARTs/areas to ensure a shared technical direction. In this position, there will be a significant focus on the alignment that can increase the value we can harvest from our engagement with VEEVA as a supplier. In close collaboration with your Domain and Solution Architect colleagues, and the Platform team and Enterprise architecture, you will be responsible for the long-term, strategic outlook for the architectural landscape covering the VEEVA solution vision, intent, roadmap, and the architectural Runway for the entire ecosystem around the VEEVA solutions. It is expected that you proactively seek opportunities for optimizations – e.g., process/system/platform improvements or alignments and that you are keeping yourself up to date on new technology trends and industry standards. You will be working with portfolio stakeholders as well as Line of Business and suppliers to align the architectural direction with the solution intent. What we are looking for
To be our new Senior IT Solution Architect, we are looking for a candidate who can tick off most of the following: Experience as an IT Architect, and you have knowledge about working in an agile setup 3-5 years of experience within IT infrastructure and integration Experience with both VEEVA, cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure) and integration along with solution design. Strong communication skills, in both written and verbal form and you can listen and understand the IT and business complexities and translate these into opportunities A master’s degree within Engineering, IT or similar
