Then join us as our new Product Manager in our Radar Product Management team.

Technical and commercial understanding combined with a collaborative mind.

With reference to Director of Radar Product Management, you will become part of a team consisting of 8 passionate, ambitious and great colleagues who always strive to bring the best out in each other. The team is responsible for the commercialization and development of the Terma portfolio of Radar Products and Solutions. The portfolio covers radar solutions for different areas such as airports, ships, wind farms and coastal surveillance.
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for selected products and application specific solutions, including the associated Business Plans and strategy. You will be responsible for interpreting the market and customer needs, including functional requirements into value creating offerings and for managing market launch. You will therefore work closely across functions both internally in Product Management as well as with Sales, Marketing, Projects, Service, R&D, Finance etc. A typical working day provides a large degree of variation in tasks and responsibilities, offering great opportunity to be challenged and develop new skills and knowledge within radar and Product Management.

You are responsible for your part of the portfolio in a full lifecycle perspective, including:

  • Product strategy, roadmap and budget
  • Collecting market intelligence to represent the “voice of the customer”
  • Establishing solid business cases and go-to-market strategies
  • Working cross-organizational to secure the profitability of your products
  • Ensuring verification and validation of products and application specific solutions, technically and commercially
  • Taking active part in the pricing of your products
  • Ensuring that adequate sales material is available in cooperation with Sales and Marketing
  • Conduct organizational training and evangelize your product internally and externally
  • Technically manage and assist during proposal preparation, sales meetings and demo activities

In radar Product Management we are using the Product Activities framework from Product Focus to develop product management as a discipline and to continue the team development we need additional competencies and hands in the team.

How to succeed in this position?
We are looking for an ambitious Product Manager who has education or flair for both technical and commercial aspects and is willing to walk the extra mile to deliver a winning solution. You have a Bachelor or Master degree within Business, Technical or Commercial areas, combined with 5 years’ of experience from a similar position in an International B2B Business, which has given you a strong toolbox. Furthermore, we imagine that you have experience with product management, portfolio development, as well as great communication skills which you use actively to engage stake holders and transform complex information into simple story telling.
Experience with pricing and launch management is an advantage as is experience from the defense or security industry.
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.

As a person you are analytical, collaborative and a team player who recognize the value of working closely with both internal and external stakeholders; building positive relations and communicate clearly to customers and stakeholders throughout the organization.

The position is intended for our office in Lystrup, Aarhus and you can expect around 20-30 travel days a year.
