The Position As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving a portfolio of digital supply chain projects and initiatives that support our ongoing supply chain transformation. You will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and managing the portfolio to ensure the successful execution of projects and enable the transformation to happen at a high speed with minimal risk. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing a specific portfolio of digital initiatives that enable a larger supply chain transformation. Understanding dependencies in the portfolio and their impact on the supply chain transformation. Analysing risks to project execution and preparing contingency plans with teams. Managing stakeholders both in relation to the larger transformation portfolio and the project teams implementing the solutions. Facilitating stakeholder and steering group meetings. Qualifications To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: Proven experience in project management, preferably in a digital transformation or supply chain context. Strong understanding of stakeholder interaction and communication, project and portfolio management, and digital and supply chain challenges. Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape. Knowledge of IT product management and portfolio management is an advantage. Good knowledge of supply chain processes and industry best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. About the Department The Digital Supply Chain Transformation and Strategy team is an international team consisting of approximately 10 employees with diverse backgrounds. We collaborate across functions within and outside the Supply Chain domain to support strategy development and execution, as well as manage a large and complex digital project portfolio. Our ambition is to ensure digital transformation in Novo Nordisk’s supply chain, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and digital processes.
