Our team is responsible for controlling of and consolidating the financials from our subsidiaries across the world as well as preparing the external financial reporting of the Group. This includes IFRS compliance, M&A accounting, interaction with and support of our global Finance organization and coordination with the auditors globally.
We are part of a Group Finance organization which also includes Business Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Process & Projects, Group Treasury and Group Tax. We also work closely with other key stakeholders, such as Investor Relations, Legal, M&A and Communication.
We have more than 100 years of history embedded in the way we work and in development of our products. Our working environment is characterized by being down-to-earth and professional, where we enjoy a friendly and informal tone.
Working internationally
You will mainly be working with our consolidation and financial reporting process for the companies owned by Demant Group and secondly with the William Demant Invest companies. You can find further information about William Demant Invest here: https://www.Demantinvest.com/.

This means that you will be working across the Demant Group and that will require you to establish close communication and proactive engagement with the finance departments in the different countries to ensure high quality internal and external reporting, as well as analysis of and insights into the financials.” says Casper.

Your toolbox
You have an education in Business Administration, Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar and have experience from an international auditing business and/or from a financial controlling function in an international company. Furthermore:

For us, your social skills are just as important as your professional skills. This means that you are a team player, who likes to solve problems and work as a team, and you have a good sense of quality and humor.
You also
You should expect 5-10 travel days yearly.

Your tasks will include:
- participating in monthly, quarterly and annual closing, consolidation and reporting processes for the Demant Group, and safeguard compliance with IFRS, DK GAAP and Group accounting guidelines,
- being a sparring partner for colleagues inside and outside Finance in matters of accounting and financial compliance etc.,
- contribute to developing and maintaining the Group’s accounting policies and reporting guidelines,
- drive projects from end-to-end with the purpose of continually improving our processes,
- participate in development of our Financial Compliance setup, which includes an internal control framework and similar compliance matters.
Your toolbox
You have an education in Business Administration, Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar and have experience from an international auditing business and/or from a financial controlling function in an international company. Furthermore:
- you have experience with consolidation principles, group controlling and reporting processes, as well as IFRS experience and solid accounting skills,
- you are a proactive user of IT systems and have experience with financial consolidation system and/or similar,
- your mindset is data-driven with strong analytical and numerical skills and interest in automation and improvements of processes,
- you have experience with auditing and/or from similar financial controlling positions,
