In Novo Nordisk, with the users’ consent, we collect real-world data to help us drive insights into how our products perform and what value they create for people with serious chronic diseases. As we launch more digitally enabled solutions over the coming years, more and new types of data will become available. We want to learn as much as possible from these real-world data and become better at using the data to improve our digital health products. As an Associate Director for Evidence Generation, you will, together with our cross-functional teams, drive insights and evidence-generation projects across our portfolio of digital health solutions together with stakeholders in both HQ and our affiliates. More specifically the main responsibilities will include: Drive the development of research studies based on our real-world data in the Digital Health area. Contribute to setting the direction for evidence generation (studies, publications, abstracts, posters, and symposia) around our Digital Health solutions and medical products using Digital Health data. Contribute to setting the direction for commercial insights generation related to the commercialization of our Digital Health products (connected devices and Digital Therapeutics) Help build capabilities in using our data insights for digital health product development and improvement. Drive strategic real-world data insourcing initiatives and become the go-to person for strategic data-related questions. All the above will be done in a cross-functional project structure with e.g., data scientists, medical, and commercial colleagues to generate impact across key stakeholders. You will take on the functional leadership role for these projects. The person will report to the Global Director of Insights and Evidence in Digital Health, Commercial DD&IT. Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a master’s degree or Ph.D., combined with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with data and evidence generation, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or academia. However, we do expect that you have: Passion for Digital Health and working with real-world data. Cross-disciplinary background having both a commercial/strategic understanding and an understanding of the limits and opportunities provided by working with (real-world) data. Strong people skills and are motivated by driving strategy development and change involving stakeholders at all organizational levels. High level of drive, initiative, and persistence and you are results-oriented. Motivation for driving projects that have not been done before. Analytical, structured, and ambitious way of thinking and like to be challenged. We expect you to be fully proficient in English (oral and written). About the department
In Søborg, Denmark, Digital Health, a part of the Commercial DD&IT (Data, Digital & IT) division, aims to maximize the benefits of Novo Nordisk products for patients. We collect real-world data with user consent to gain insights into product performance and value for patients and healthcare professionals. Within Digital Health, we shape and drive the global Digital Health strategy. We oversee commercial development, both internally and through partnerships, for solutions like smart insulin pens and connected monitoring devices. Additionally, we support developing go-to-market strategies for these solutions and manage real-world data collected through digital health products.
