In this position, you will use your strong analytical and programming competencies to innovate and build full-stack Data Science (Machine Learning and Mathematical Modelling) products in a MLOps setup. Together with your Data Engineering- and Data Science colleagues, you will take an integral part in a product team, collaborating with a broad range of profiles and competencies to deliver on digital AI solutions that enable more intelligent use of data and ultimately improve the lives of people living with chronic diseases. Qualifications
To fulfil the role, it is essential that you can use your good interpersonal and communication skills to achieve results together with your colleagues. We treasure the positive atmosphere in our team and count on you to engage and participate in a positive manner as well. It is an advantage if you can tick of any of the below: A master’s or PhD degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar. More than 3 years of experience in a data science role, with a focus on designing and implementing mathematical modelling/advanced analytics/machine learning products, ideally in a production-mature MLOps setup. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex business problems into solvable mathematical problems. Technically skilled and proficiency in programming languages, preferably Python, and adherence to software development standards and CI/CD. Experience with Docker, ideally on Kubernetes, and prior experience with Kubernetes native projects (such as argo and Helm) is a plus. Knowledge within the pharmaceutical or medical field is an advantage but not a requirement.
About the Department
The Data & Modelling department is the home of a team of highly professional, engaged, and motivated data engineers and data scientists, who take a core part in novel digital solutions throughout the clinical drug development value chain. The Data & Modelling team is part of the Development organisation. In Development we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product launch. We provide medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to global standards, regulations and business ethics.
