We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team in the BRD Finish Products GEVA Business Support department at Novo Nordisk. The position As a Business Intelligence Developer at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to: Support, drive, and develop data science, business intelligence, and manufacturing intelligence solutions to provide new business insights. Identify and develop data and data tools/systems needed to understand performance and improvement potential. Analyze data and collaborate with stakeholders in FP GEVA to propose areas for improvement in line with the FP GEVA strategy Connect with relevant global IT system experts and super users to maximize the utilization of existing systems. The responsibilities of this position include also coordinating data analytics experts to ensure proper use and understanding of data, developing, and maintaining production and management dashboards related to the BRD FP GEVA areas. A major part of the role will include ensuring data availability, reliability and trustworthiness of key data used for day-to-day decision making. Next to this, it is expected to investigate data quality, cleaning data when necessary, and documenting solutions systematically according to relevant standards. Qualifications We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar, and demonstrated ability to learn new programming languages. Experience using data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, and/or Power BI. Familiarity with manufacturing environments. Possess an academic degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Strong skills in collecting and synthesizing information and communicating it effectively to key stakeholders. In summary, the ideal candidate should have experience in programming languages, data visualization tools, and knowledge of manufacturing environments. They should have a relevant academic degree and the ability to collect and communicate information effectively. Strong communication skills, time management skills, and proficiency in English are necessary. About the department The BRD Finish Products GEVA Business Support department is responsible for driving business intelligence and optimizing effectiveness within Novo Nordisk. Our team focuses on providing data-based insights to support business decision-making. We analyze data, identify trends and patterns, and prepare reports and data visualizations to aid in data storytelling.
