Are you a seasoned Supply Chain Planner looking to use your experience to build something new? Do you have a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to collaborate widely across the business? Then apply today as you might be the Supply Chain Planner we are looking for to join our Local Manufacturing (LM) Business Support department. The position As Supply Chain Planner, you will work closely with Supply Chain Project Manager to set up, establish and improve our supply chain. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a stable and reliable planning. Your key responsibilities will include to: Deliver accurate and timely forecasts to our Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and other stakeholders Order handling and follow up on orders to ensure material availability according to demand Develop and maintain the master data setup in Local Manufacturing Determine and monitor safety stocks/inventory of critical production materials Make analyses to identify and quantify potential supply constraints, make clear prioritisations and coordinate actions needed to avoid or reduce the impact. On top of that, you will drive continuous optimization projects of the supply chain together with the CMO and Novo Nordisk stakeholders, as well as taking charge in expanding the CMO network. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to: Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management or any other relevant field Have a previous experience in supply chain planning or purchasing Possess a strong SAP knowledge, ideally SAP APO/ECC Be fluent in English, both written and spoken. As a person, you are known to be highly engaged, proactive and not afraid to take the lead. You have a positive and quality mindset. You can build relationships through trust and transparency and are able to communicate across cultures. Your good communication and coordination skills allow you to get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. You enjoy working proactively and taking responsibility in a dynamic environment, with many tasks to coordinate and execute on, changing priorities and strict deadlines. About the department You will be a part of our Business Support department in Local Manufacturing. LM is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation, and our primary role is the establishment and operation of manufacturing sites in countries where local presence is required to obtain market access. We play a vital part in bringing product to patients worldwide, by ensuring an efficient supply chain both at our contract manufactures and local sites.
