The positionThis is a new position, and as we are introducing cooperation with CMO’s, you will have a possibility of having a real influence on this new development, as well as freedom to innovate. You will work closely with CMOs to ensure the successful implementation of our strategies while fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Although no people leadership is involved, your independent approach and strategic thinking will be instrumental in propelling our organization forward.You can look forward to:• Strategic Tasks, such as developing and executing the strategic roadmap for our CMO relationships; evaluating and implementing CMO partners based on their capabilities, capacity, and ability to support our long-term objectives; as well as managing long-term capacity and risks with CMOs.
• Acting as the key liaison between our company and CMOs, facilitating effective communication and collaboration; provide guidance and support to CMOs in demand planning, production scheduling, and supplier management; you will set up the system and follow up on CMO performance, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon standards; conducting periodic reviews to identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as necessary. All of this is done while ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing the implementation and qualification processes for CMOs; collaborating with cross-functional teams to negotiate contractual agreements; setting up the system to follow up on CMO performance, while continuously refining operational processes and workflows to drive efficiency and enhance the overall CMO performance.
The working location will be Køge, with the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week, on average. Since international collaboration will be part of your job, you can expect to travel around 2-3 weeks per year.
Qualifications
We imagine that a successful candidate will have:• An academic degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences).
• Prior experience in supply or CMO management, including supplier management, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization.
• Familiarity with working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment, including GMP qualification processes, change management, and deviation handling.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, and make independent decisions, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and external CMO partners.
• Fluency in English.
As a person, you are pro-active, dedicated, and have strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex operational challenges and propose innovative solutions.
About the department
The Supply Chain and Procurement team consist of 11 dedicated colleagues that cover different areas of responsibilities like: inbound supply, material and supplier implementation, production and capacity planning, procurement, and category management.
