Then apply now as you might be the Department Lean Partner we are looking for to join our Strategy & Business Development, Sourcing Operations team. The position is primarily based in Hillerød, with some activities in Bagsværd and Kalundborg. The position As Department Lean Partner you will drive and push the lean agenda in Sourcing Operations (SoOp) to support and improve our business. Your main responsibilities include to:
  • Coach leaders and directors on shopfloor on a daily basis
  • Drive our LEAN agenda and strategy across the organisation together with the Corporate Vice President (CVP) Lean Partner and management group, such as visual management, shopfloor coaching, problem-solving, etc.
  • Teach, facilitate and coach on complex, systematic problem-solving across the organisation. You will be part of central LEAN academy teaching on our LEAN 1 and 2-star education.
  • In this position you will be part of developing and implementing the LEAN strategy for SoOp together with three other Departments and our CVP Lean partner. We have recently been centralized into one team and it is therefore important that you are ready to help design and build the framework for the LEAN journey of Sourcing Operations. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
  • At least a bachelor’s degree within Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or any other relevant field
  • Strong communication skill and a proven record of coaching and/or teaching people
  • Experience from working in a production-like environment or in a supply chain organisation, within a regulated environment (e.g. pharmaceutical, food or aviation industry)
  • Experience in driving improvement initiatives through projects or sprints as well as a knowledge of lean through education or previous experience
  • A fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • It would be considered as an advantage if you have hands-on leadership coaching experience and can understand Danish at a conversational level. As a person, you have excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and visualization skills. You are passionate about LEAN and you thrive in working in environment where you would have to drive the LEAN mindset at different levels: from shopfloor to senior leadership. About the department The Strategy & Business Development (SBD) department is a unit within SoOp, where SoOp is responsible for the inbound supply chain of direct spend materials in Novo Nordisk. SBD is primarily responsible for driving and executing on SoOp key strategic projects, facilitating implementation of our business plan including a cultural transformation, with digitalisation and business intelligence as core principles. Our primary focus is to remain forward-looking, be the frontrunners for a new way of working and showcase strong adaptability.
