As Health & Safety Coordinator (AMK) you will be part of safety risk assessments and evaluations, conduct safety inspections and exercise safety oversight of construction sites. Further you will be responsible for ensuring legislation are followed at construction site e.g. conducting and documenting safety inspection rounds. You will be part of a network of Health & Safety Coordinators within the investment project and are a role model for creating a safe and healthy working environment on the construction site. You can cooperate with many different stakeholders, resulting in a healthy attitude and safe behaviour on site, through your constructive dialogue and systematic influence. You feel confident giving guidance on Health and Safety regulations, both within the project organisation but also for externals contractors or visitors, for example doing the induction of the safety standards at the project. You will work closely together with the NovoNordisk and external Partners H&S teams in the investment project, who oversees H&S strategies and policies across. You might be asked to participate in the update of H&S strategies to reduce accidents and near-misses and improve employee well-being. Finally, you should be a profound practitioner of effective communication having cross-collaborative approach. Ideally, you share your good solutions across the different construction’s sites for standardization, drawing the right conclusions from a given situation allowing us to prevent dangerous situations from unfolding. This job gives you a great opportunity to play a part of keeping a safe working environment at our construction site at Novo Nordisk and ensure operational excellence from a HS perspective. To be considered for this position, you should: Have an education as ‘Arbejdsmiljø Koordinator’ (please upload certificate when applying) Be passionate about Health and Safety Have solid experience working with Health & Safety aspects, preferably at a construction site Ideally have worked with the risk assessment of construction processes Have a systematic and well-structured work approach Have in-depth knowledge within Danish legislation within the area Have verbal and written communication skills both in English and in Danish On a personal level, you enjoy close teamwork, can ride a storm off and are a strong motivator of others.
