Are you excited by the opportunity to work at the intersection of science, business and strategy? Are you eager to drive and implement strategic development projects across the R&ED organisation? If yes, then you might be the ambitious Strategy Project Lead that we are looking for. The position The Strategy Project Lead will be a member of the R&ED Executive Office team. It’s a fun, dynamic and collaborative team characterised by a high-performance culture. As a small team, we work closely together and focus on being innovative in all we do! We explore and welcome new ideas, disruptive ways of working and are motivated by challenging the status quo. We bring ideas to life by providing structure and being good at executing, we connect the dots to our long-term aspirations and provide strategic support to the EVP and CSO. Some of your responsibilities as a Strategy Project Lead will include:
  • Managing strategic development projects across the R&ED organisation in close collaboration with other strategic support functions to the EVP including Communications and P&O.
  • Driving the development of strategic management presentations to senior level management.
  • Driving the preparations of the EVP for senior level management meetings.
  • Qualifications You hold an academic degree in science, business or project management. To succeed in this role you have:
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience either in a scientific or a business setting.
  • High degree of planning, multi-tasking abilities and ability to operate in a complex and fast changing environment.
  • Great networking skills and eagerness to understand why, what and how other parts of the organisation work.
  • Previous experience working for a pharmaceutical company and/or with business development will be an advantage but is not a requirement.
  • On a personal level, you are passionate about constant improvement and take pride to deliver results with quality, pace and a sense of humour. You are an excellent communicator, and your strong analytic mind-set helps you to focus on what is important. About Research & Early Development (R&ED) In R&ED we are more than 2000 employees.
