Project Manager for a 2-year assignment in Trial Portfolio Management and Innovation, Process Improvement Office Søborg - Denmark

We offer a 2-year assignment that will provide you with value chain insights and network as well as strengthen your project management skills.The position
In our team, you will be driving improvement projects focusing on processes within clinical drug development from idea to implementation.This includes being responsible for:
  • Stakeholder and team involvement and engagement
  • Project plan
  • Solution development and implementation

  • With every idea and project, you will build and expand your network across and beyond Clinical Drug Development through close collaboration with decision-makers, project owners, process specialists, and colleagues. You will gain insight into processes, systems, value chains, and challenges while strengthening your skills to navigate, negotiate, drive innovation, and implement changes.
    When we support the integration of new commercial investments, new regulatory requirements, and new digital solutions into the Novo Nordisk culture and business, a lot of things need to be agreed and aligned with multiple stakeholders at different levels. Hence, we are looking for a new colleague who can look at a process from different perspectives, assess the different needs in the organisation, understand the business drivers as well as the end-users, facilitate innovative thinking and drive improvements that matters, are feasible, viable and sustainable - bringing the employees and the decision makers along.Qualifications
    As an ideal candidate you:
  • Has project manager experience, preferably with a track record of driving cross functional improvement projects within pharma. Can prepare a business case, a project plan, a stakeholder map, a risk assessment, and communication and implementation plans.
  • Are familiar with clinical drug development, the value chain, and the general processes
  • Are strong in people skills, facilitation, negotiation, and communication and can create trust, engagement, and commitment
  • Have an objective, analytical, and pragmatic mind-set
  • Are actively listening and curious
  • Switch from a helicopter view to a detailed approach as needed
  • Work independently while continuously interacting and sparring with colleagues
  • Hold a Master’s degree in life science or a solid understanding of the value chain developed while working in the pharma industry/clinical development for a number of years

    Every day, many great improvement ideas are born in our innovative, mature organisation. We drive projects to address operational challenges, to ensure successful partnering, to work smarter and to explore new paths. We investigate and experiment to reach the better solutions. Recently we have supported adoption of new European regulation into the complex NN process landscape. Venturing into new therapeutic areas, our many specialists need easy access to operational guidance and knowledge, so we gathered input across the organisation and build a knowledge sharing framework. We have also developed and implemented an internal organisation handling and delivering clinical content for business-critical meetings throughout the world.
    In other words, as our new Project manager, you will be leading innovation, driving change and add value to the next chapter of the Novo Nordisk success story. You will be making a true difference for our patients, our colleagues, and the many people, we work with around the world while building insights and network, extending your PM skill set and your personal reach.
    We are 7 dedicated project managers with different backgrounds and broad NN business understanding and experience.
