Actona Group is looking for an ambitious Head of Accounting to lead our accounting team and be a frontrunner in the department. You will be the driver of digital processes in an ambitious organisation with room for development and focus on being a leading business partner.
The position
As Head of Accounting, you will be the team lead of a financial department with 6 experienced employees and the main responsible for the areas of finance, accounts receivables, and payables. You will work hands-on with the monthly and annual accounts with cooperation towards the Controlling department.
With the responsibility for processes, you will be in charge of optimizing and at Actona Group we have a constant focus on digitalisation, which is why we imagine you have some experience, a natural interest, and curiosity in optimising processes digitally.
Your role will also include the following responsibilities:
Who are you?
We imagine you have a relevant education on HD-R, cand. merc. or similar level with experience from a position as controller, chief accountant, or finance manager from a bigger company or possibly auditor. You have a solid experience in accounting and a good business understanding and approach. Some management experience is a requirement for the role, we expect you to be open for development and your key is to have a natural interest in people, coaching, and be open to taking on the responsibility.
Your mindset is digital, and you have a good understanding of ERP, BI, and digital solutions. To succeed in this role, we expect you to be devoted, ambitious, and solution-oriented. We also see you as a self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and in teams.

The position

Your role will also include the following responsibilities:
- Professional and personnel manager for the finance department for 6 experienced employees
- Responsibility for finance, accounts receivables, and payables, etc.
- Accounts receivable management in an international export company with sales to more than 90 countries
- Liquidity management and payments
- Optimising processes with a digital focus
- Monthly and annual accounts
- Collaboration with the controlling department regarding accounts, budget preparation, and other management reporting
- VAT, direct and indirect tax, insurance, etc.
- Responsible for projects on both Group and local level
- Sparring partner for and support to management, and department heads in Denmark and internationally
- Analytics, calculations, and ad hoc tasks
- Reference to the VP Group Finance
- Cooperation with and reporting to group treasury and tax functions in our parent company
Who are you?
