Controlling is part of the Project Controls Director area consisting of Cost Estimation & Risk Management, Contract & Procurement Management & Project Controlling. Project Controls is a newly established management team with high energy and an ambitious strategy to execute our projects to the best. All together the management team consist of 5 highly skilled and professional leaders, where you will be member of the team reporting to Head of Controlling.

You will join our Project Execution area consisting of approximately 500 highly skilled project employees. Specifically, you will be part of our Project Controlling Team, consisting of 35 highly skilled Senior Project controllers and Project controllers in Denmark and India, who oversee the controlling of the largest EPCMV projects in nne. We engage and interact with a variety of stakeholders. Regardless of which of these many stakeholders we face, our vision is to take a partner position: Providing our stakeholders support in a manner allowing them a feeling of control and support. This requires a proactive mindset and approach to solving tasks and a high level of flexibility.

How you might spend your days
As a Line Manager, you'll be working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary organization where your daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and support a team of 10-15 people within the project controlling department from junior to mid-level experience across Virum, India and Kalundborg.
- Direct strategic initiatives set by nne management for the controlling department
- Resource planning and hiring to secure right competencies in the team
- Develop and grow the team to be able to support our project pipeline
- Optimization and improvement initiatives comes natural to you as part of your daily work
- Act as a Mentor and a Coach for the team members
- Part of our team are in India, therefore travelling to India should be expected 1-3 times per year
- You engage naturally with a large variation of stakeholders internally and externally
The position is based in Kalundborg or Virum, but we expect you to be flexible since we work closely together with our customers, and we are where they are and where our team members are located.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- you have experience in leading a controlling team
- you have walked the miles as Cost Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Senior Cost Controller or Project Controls Manager
- an educational background within Economics or Technical e.g. civil engineer.
- +15 years of experience within Project Controls, ideally from the pharmaceutical, biotech, food or chemical industry
- It is key that you have in-depth experience of Cost controlling procedures, forecasting and monthly reporting to customers to support the team
- have knowledge within Project Planning, Project Risk Management, Tender / Contract Management
- can create structure and handle several tasks simultaneously
- Our team uses PIMS, NAV, SAP, Excel, Power point, therefore it is an advance you have knowledge of the systems
- you might have been involved in developing or implementing new IT tools / ERP / Reporting systems
- are experienced in creating and using of Earned Value Management methodology
- are fluent in Danish and English, spoken and written. You live in Denmark.
