Data Steward - Principa - Real World Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your experience within real world data (RWD) with your strategic capabilities in an international environment? The position You will be joining a team of highly professional, engaged, and motivated data scientists, managing Novo Nordisk Real World Data assets. Interacting and supporting Data scientists, external vendors as well as the legal team. As a Real World Data steward, you will be responsible for: Identification, quality assessment, licensing, and documentation of relevant sources of RWD Maintaining an updated catalogue of potentially relevant data sources as well as assessing the potential and quality of data per request from internal stakeholders. Training and education of RWD sources across the organization Contributing to the overall area data strategy Your duties will be diverse and will include driving the collection of stakeholder input on data needs. You will be working in a cross functional collaboration between several internal stakeholders across Novo Nordisk and across geographies. Qualifications You hold a master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Life sciences or equivalent Have 4+ years of proven track record in co-managing licensing and contracting for RWD in the life sciences industry You are able to assess the quality of RWD and understand its potential use in drug development, regulatory filings and price negotiations. Skilled in managing Internal/External stakeholders Project management and/or contract management as well as Operational experience and strategy development will be an advantage As a person you focus on being accountable and reaching goals through a collaborative effort. You are able to use strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally. For this position, you are required to be fluent in spoken and written English. About the department You will be part of the area of Real-World Science is part of Data Science in Development and located in Søborg, Denmark; recently established to centralize governance of our RWD assets. In Development, we are responsible for managing Clinical Drug Development worldwide from early development phases to product launch and beyond. We provide medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to global standards, regulations, and business ethics.
