You will be part of the patient voice strategy and alliance team in global medical affairs and will work in Søborg, Denmark. We are a small team with the ambition to grow. We are responsible for leading and overseeing Novo Nordisk efforts to put patients at the centre of our operation and decision-making and support Development with a number of alliance projects. We are starting a new initiative where Novo Nordisk will take a systematic approach to support initiatives that can strengthen early innovation by providing science capital back to the life-science eco system. The initiative will have the below purpose: Provide development opportunities for senior people from Novo Nordisk to give science capital back to the life science community as mentors or academic teaching staff Network with the life science eco-system for potential future collaborations Talent incubator for potential new employees to Novo Nordisk The position
As Alliance Project Lead you will report directly to the head of patient voice strategies and Alliances. In this role, your main responsibilities will be to: Set up and manage the umbrella project NESTOR which via engagement with academia or small start-up companies’ trough established consortia’s provide development opportunities for senior people from NN to give science capital back to the life science community (mentors or academic teaching staff) Utilise the life science eco system to create a talent hub into Novo Nordisk Create opportunities and a resilient infrastructure to support and actively participate in the innovation ecosystem Build trust in NN as a future partner for small start-ups and academia Increase diversity/senior employees Trough own initiative and decision making innovate further methods to engage in the life-science eco system to support the EVP areas R&ED and Development for talent and products of interest to Novo Nordisk future portfolio and capabilities Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: Bachelor or master’s degree with natural science or equivalent and min. 4-6 years relevant experience, together with a min. 3 years of project management experience Training in leading complex projects Strong knowledge and network of the life science eco-system in Denmark Life Science network in the Nordic countries and US as advantage Organisational insight and Ability to manoeuvre around the Novo Nordisk organisation to communicate the opportunity and identify relevant candidates The role requires excellent communication skills with good command of written/spoken English As a person you are motivated to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing requirements and priorities. You enjoy driving new initiatives in a complex and dynamic environment. You have a high degree of independence to set direction and deliver results in close collaboration with other experts. You enjoy identifying better practice across the industry and improve these.
