The position As International Medical Director your main role will be to support the clinical development strategy for CagriSema including the design and planning of clinical trials, interpreting data including assessment of risk-benefit, documenting results, and supporting regulatory submissions. You will work in close collaboration with many other skill areas such as trial management, biostatistics, global safety, and regulatory affairs. We also interact with colleagues in regional offices as well as external stakeholders including regulatory authorities, treating HCPs and therapeutic experts. I t is key to have a flair for building and using both internal and external network(s) and share learnings actively within the project and department as you will give oral presentations internally and externally and co-author publications. Additionally, support and guide less experienced members of the team. Qualifications University degree as a Medical Doctor and have dedicated clinical research experience, preferably through a Ph.D. or similar in a relevant therapy area such as endocrinology Experience with clinical development in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry would be required Experience as (co)-investigator in randomized clinical trials is a plus Proficient written and oral English as we work in a global environment As a professional, you thrive in a dynamic and international environment with attention to quality and innovation. You have strong coordination/planning and collaborative capabilities and have key attributes including analytical and strategic skills, creativity, curiosity, flexibility, commitment, and the ability to prioritise tasks. About the department To accelerate and expand the promising novel therapy CagriSema, a dedicated area has been established as part of Clinical Drug Development located in Søborg, Copenhagen, Denmark. In Medical & Science (M&S), we are medically responsible for the clinical development program. Our responsibilities include planning and execution of clinical trials (phases 1-4) and non-interventional studies, medical and scientific support to health authority interactions, publications, early research activities, presentations, and more. The current M&S departments consist of 14 medical doctors and 4 clinical pharmacologists, and we are continuously growing. Working at Novo Nordisk At Novo Nordisk, we don’t wait for change.
