As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for coordination and leading testing activities for Connectivity products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage, adherence to project timelines, and impeccable quality assurance.
The Role
Your main task will be to plan and manage the test activities for our new wireless connectivity products, based on the Bluetooth® protocol family. You will play a critical role in the success of our hearing aid solution package by ensuring adequate test and you will report to project leader.
You will be part of our Requirement & Test Manager Team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Your primary tasks are:
• Define test strategy, test plan, and updates as a project evolves for our outsourcing connectivity products.
• You will review test results from our outsourcing partner and plan acceptance test.
• Setting priorities in the test scope and for the test team.
• Managing defects and ensure that solutions to resolve open defects are devised.
• Preparing test and defect metrics to ensure transparency.
• Participate in SAFe® ceremonies to accompany test through the agile development pipeline.
Technical Background
We expect you to have a technical background and preferable a degree in engineering or computer science - combined with some years of test management experience within product development. You are interested in for new technology, and it will be an advantage if you have worked with outsourcing.
Furthermore, IBM DOORS and RQM Rational Quality Manager is out main tool for test management, and it is an advance if you have experience with them or similar system. And relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are also a plus.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
You enjoy working in teams and like to collaborate closely with colleagues across departments. You understand that making adequate test is very much about communication and involvement of the right people. You have an interest in technology and a motivation for ensuring system test for our future products.
