About The Department The Development EVP-area of Novo Nordisk (the D in R&D) spends more than €100M yearly on digital solutions and employs 3.500 people of 75 nationalities across HQ, regions and local sites all over the world. Digital Transformation Office (DTO) ensures that the strategic impact of our investments is maximised and prioritised to deliver important business outcomes and value to users. We are responsible for the digital portfolio strategy, product prioritisation, tracking value realisation, aligning change efforts and maturing ideas for new digital products. We are a key contributor to set direction for cultural evolution, ways of working and capability building across the organisation. The initiatives governed by the DTO, sponsored by SVPs / Digital Leads and driven by our digital product teams have global reach and impact people across Novo Nordisk. The position We are looking for an experienced, organised and ambitious CM to be responsible for driving the communication side of digital transformation on behalf of DTO. The CM will be a subject matter expert for our network of communications business partners, work with digital product teams and liaise with the Digital Leads who anchor directly with our SVPs and region heads to embed “digital” within our lines of business and geographies of our operations.The role will peer with colleagues who focus on Digital Discovery, Digital Enablement, Digital Portfolio Management and Digital Solution Development and be empowered to work across our organisation. The role has a seat at the table with the Communications Network in Development, chaired by our EVP Communications Business Partner. The network run a fixed cadence of alignment meetings where digitalisation is a steady point on the agenda and receives increasing focus. The CM is expected to take ownership of creating- and maintaining the communications plan for digital transformation to incorporate strategic direction and drive alignment on the digital topics across SVP-areas (75%). The CM should also be a partner to large events and activities driven out of the DTO (25%). You will anchor within the Digital Enablement team, who is responsible for Change Management and Capability Building, working in close collaboration with all functions of the Development EVP-area and link to other EVP-areas. Qualifications You hold an academic degree in communication, journalism, business management or similar and have at least 5 years of experience working within digitalisation and / or the pharmaceutical industry, and knowledge of communication in context of change management is a plus. To succeed in the role, you need:
  • Experience and confidence in advising senior management on communication
  • Experience in a multinational organisation working with diverse internal stakeholders and across different cultures
  • An independent and result-oriented way of working and you approach tasks with structure, energy, curiosity, a positive attitude, and a strategic mindset
  • Experience using Office 365 tools by heart (including SharePoint, Yammer, Teams), and you master the production of content that captures the interest of your audience
  • If you are gifted with competencies to work with video editing, graphic design and other digital formats that are also a plus. Any familiarity with the ADKAR change management framework and Agile ways of working is also a plus. All communication is in English and proficiency here is a prerequisite.
