Global Data Office Are you sharp on data management and ready to lift the implementation of our enterprise information model to the next level? What's behind the title As Enterprise Information Architect you will work in close collaboration with team members and business experts to create conceptual and logical data models and you will acquire insight into the full value chain of Novo Nordisk, from early research to marketing and sales. You will join our team of data and information architects in mapping and modelling our business, delivering foundational data capabilities and strategic data products - and thus play a key role in supporting our extensive data agenda. Your main job tasks are to: Design and maintain the Enterprise Information Model for Novo Nordisk's data domains, containing the business information domain landscape as well as business conceptual and business logical layers. Collaborate and innovate on how we use and utilize Business Glossaries, Data Catalog, Meta Data Management, Data Quality, Master Data Management, and Data Governance Act as a trusted advisor, provide guidance and support for all the components that ensure enterprise-wide alignment and transparent data management. Support and guide business initiatives with data modelling, data definitions, and alignment with our EIM. Overall, the role is very transformational, and we expect you to actively take part in defining and enabling our foundational data management capabilities. What we are looking for
We believe that the right candidates come with a background that ticks off most of the following: Experience with assessing and implementing enterprise-wide data models and metadata management tools, as well as integrating complex and cross-corporate processes Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across the line of business at a senior level to influence and effect change to achieve common goals Self-driven and passionate about data modelling and data management +4 years of data management experience, ideally from an IT consultancy, system integrator, or industrial company. +2 years of experience in a team lead or specialist role leading or guiding cross-functional teams within a complex context. On top of that, we would love to meet a candidate with: Ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources and management concepts, and analytical approaches/options. Ability to effectively drive business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to technologists Experience from working and managing in a project oriented, international matrix organization Pharmaceutical industry experience Given the growth we are experiencing in the EIM area requires a diverse set of competencies to strengthen our team, and we are open to welcoming experienced candidates at different levels of seniority for this role. Therefore, this role will be adjustable depending on the right candidates. The team waiting for you With this role, you will join the Global Data Office within DD&IT – the digital, data, and IT partner to all of Novo Nordisk. Global Data Office was established in 2020, and we will soon grow to more than 100 diverse and dedicated employees working primarily out of Denmark and India. As part of the Enterprise Information Model team, you will work in the data architecture organisation along with other data capability teams such as Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Catalog, and Data Governance.
