Power BI Consultant The position You will be part of an internal BI consultant team. You will be developing analytical solutions, dashboards, and reports for our internal customers across the entire value chain. You will be: Designing and delivering scalable digital self-service solutions with the aim of simplifying the access to tools and data Automating ETL processes and ensure increased efficiency of data collection and automatization Leveraging cross-functional data from various internal and external data sources with the aim to perform exploratory data analysis and aggregate data when building new products You will work closely together with less technical people than yourself from the business and understand their needs while making them understand the technical possibilities and limitations within our IT ecosystem. You like to interact closely with customers, understanding their processes and facilitate the progress on BI tasks and projects. You will become one of our experts on the BI tools. You can look forward to collaborating with experienced team members in an environment where sharing and sparring is part of the daily routine. We will provide you the technical training required, and we ensure that your appetite for learning will be fully satisfied. Qualifications We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at some of the following attributes then you could be the person, we are looking for: Academic background (IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or similar). A solid understanding of data and how they fit together in data models 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI delivering dashboards/ reports Experience within Qlik Sense and Tableau is a plus Experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar programming language is a plus Team player who can work both in teams and still be able to work independently, focus on efficiency and business value in all tasks being executed We invest in both professional and personal development and have an individualised development plan for each employee. About the department The BI Solutions team consists of 20 employees in Denmark and approximately 50 employees in India. We provide Business Intelligence solutions globally. We have the newest BI Platform with SAP Business Warehouse (BW) on HANA and an enterprise data lake at the back end combined with utilisation of frontend tools like MS Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau and Alteryx. Our solutions enable critical corporate processes across multiple functional areas such as Financial Reporting, Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing and more.
