The position We are looking for a thought leader within Sarbox Compliance to fill the position as Sarbox Compliance Director and help drive the Sarbox Compliance program inCross Digital, Data & IT forward. This position holds the overall responsibility for Sarbox Compliance in Digital, Data & IT and is responsible for ensuring that the Novo Nordisk group comply with the requirements set forth by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (Sarbox) in relation to the use of IT in finance processes. In this role, you will report to the Corporate Vice President of Cross Digital, Data & IT and be an active member of the Management team. As Sarbox Compliance Director, you will have dotted-line team members working with you located in Denmark, US, and India. The position holder performs comprehensive reviews of IT processes and systems, and challenge stakeholders and main responsibilities will include: Advising the program, policies, procedures, and practices to ensure Sarbox compliance across Digital, Data & IT. Ensuring the risk assessments, data governance, implementation of controls, and identity and access management, are designed and operating effectively and efficiently. Executing and providing recommendations to the Management team and stakeholders for enhancing processes, risk assessment, control implementation, documentation, control testing, and preparation for external audit. Therefore, the Sarbox Compliance Director has a high impact and visibility that requires strong leadership, broad business and value chain understanding, and excellent communication capabilities. The Sarbox Director will be a critical point of contact for the Management teams across Digital, Data & IT as well as for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications As future Sarbox Compliance Director, we expect you to meet the following:
Ideally, you hold a Master’s degree in Business Economics and Auditing, or a Master of Science in Business Administration and Information Systems Minimum 5 years of experience working for a major audit firm with a focus on: Design and operating effectiveness of IT General Controls, Automated Application Controls, and manual controls (both entity level and transactional level controls) You have experience from working in an IT environment/organisation Ideally, you have experience with Agile methodologies You are an excellent communicator with outstanding people skills You are fluent in English, and a proficient MS Office user with broader IT skills As a person, you can effectively plan, prioritise, execute, follow up in a proactive and timely manner acting with strong strategic and analytical skills. You have a high degree of independence, high-quality mind set, and can maintain an overview also under time pressure. Furthermore, you have a strong cultural understanding and deep knowledge of the value chain in global companies About the department Cross Digital, Data & IT employs approx. 400 diverse and highly skilled IT employees working in Denmark and India.
