About the department New Product introduction (NPI) is a part of Injectable Finished Products (IFP), Manufacturing Development, and consists of approximately 65 employees divided between 5 teams. We are located in Bagsværd, DK. The main responsibility of NPI is the transition of development products into large scale production. This includes process design, material and process sciences, product stability, and coordination of production for late-phase clinical trials. You will become part of the Product Compatibility Team, a group of 16 highly skilled employees - both Scientists and Laboratory Technicians. The main responsibility of the Team is currently to set direction, evaluate and carry out studies related to product compatibility with production materials/single-use system, primary packaging and insulin pumps across our portfolio of injectable products. The position In the future the team will be one-point of entry when choosing new process aids/single-use systems for new and existing aseptic production facilities. This is a new position to support this. Your task will be to create and maintain an overview of process aids and single-use systems used across our production landscape evaluate requests and setting direction for new process-aids and single-use systems from our new and existing production sites You will du this in close collaboration your colleagues in the team and process experts from IFP Manufacturing Development, Production sites, Sourcing and Suppliers. Some travel could be expected (10-15 days) Qualifications An academic background within science, engineering, pharmacy or similar. Experience within aseptic production/manufacturing within a GMP environment is a plus Experience/knowledge within single-use systems and process aids
