Finance Partner to join Staffs & CSCA Finance Would you like to help support optimal allocation of resources to Novo Nordisk’s Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs (CSCA) organisation and drive the financial management of the parts of the organisation that are driving Novo Nordisk’s future growth opportunities? About the department Staffs & CSCA Finance is part of Novo Nordisk Business Finance and is responsible for the financial management of Staffs areas and the CSCA organisation. In Staffs & CSCA Finance you will be part of a young and ambitious team consisting of 11 talented employees in Denmark, supported by a dedicated team of nine colleagues from Global Business Services in India. Our overall ambition is to create impact through Finance Partnering to our stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business in which we operate. To do this, we collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. We invest significant resources in developing our employees through close sparring, frequent feedback and by giving challenging tasks and a high degree of responsibility. The job As Finance Partner, you will be responsible for the financial management for the Diabetes Unit SVP area as well as finance partner to the senior management team. The Diabetes Unit in CSCA is responsible for the commercial strategy of Novo Nordisk existing and future diabetes brands.
  • The role entails a broad range of tasks where you will work closely with the line of business on providing financial sparring and insights to maximise the value of our commercial opportunities as well as driving the financial planning processes.
  • You are expected to act as the “CFO” of the SVP area and provide recommendations to senior management within both line of business and Finance.
  • Additionally, you will collaborate with team members across Staffs & CSCA Finance and the manager of the team, who will both provide you with frequent sparring and focus on your development.
  • In this role, you will further develop your finance toolbox, get a deep understanding of Novo Nordisk’s business, interact with stakeholders across the organisation and get insights into commercial priorities.
    • Furthermore, you will be involved in various cross functional projects within the team and across Business Finance e.g., developing business intelligence solutions and driving process optimisation. You will experience a steep learning curve, which enables numerous future career opportunities in the global Novo Nordisk organisation. Qualifications
  • The person we are looking for preferably holds a master’s degree in business administration or economics with excellent results and has 2-3 years’ experience.
  • You have strong analytical skills, while good at keeping an eye for the overall purpose. You can communicate clearly and precisely with people at all levels in the organisation and you have good collaboration skills.
