Do you want to be a part of the development of future Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) setup for injectables finish project in Novo Nordisk? Are you good at developing methods and looking at things in unique perspective? Then you might be the right candidate for a job as a Scientist in our Analytical Equipment/CCI team.
About the department
The Analytical Competence Centre is a department in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Manufacturing Development and consists of plus 60 employees organised in 4 teams. We have a central support function in relation to chemical analysis of Novo Nordisk IFP under development, as well as our marketed products. The department is responsible for validation of analytical methods before clinical phase 3 and for the following transfer of the analytical methods to our QC laboratories across the world. We also support our colleagues globally with analytical knowledge and scientific help as well as drive optimisation of the analytical methods. Furthermore, the department has recently started on a journey involving testing and implementing fast analytical techniques that can reduce the lead time for analysis with the ambitious long-term goal of real time release testing of diabetes and obesity finished products. We are currently looking for a skilled Scientist to be part of the journey of development and implementation of new technologies and methods for CCIT from early phase to decommissioning.
As a Scientist in our team development of methods, troubleshooting of existing methods as well as daily interaction with our main stakeholders will be among your tasks.
In addition, the position also requires input to and execution of the CCI strategy as well as support of newly implemented methods for all areas of Novo Nordisk working with CCIT. Qualifications
To be successful in the role we expect you to have:
• A Master of Science degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science or similar
• A solid understanding of analytical chemistry and experience with deterministic as well as probabilistic leak test technologies is considered an advantage
• Good knowledge and understanding of documentation required in connection with development of analytical methods for QC laboratories. Preferably, you have in depth knowledge of GMP requirements regarding analytical methods and equipment
• Creativity and see the opportunity in innovative ideas and thrive in a changing environment
• Strong collaboration- and communication skills as well as stakeholder management
• A team-player attitude that motivates others around you and you find it natural to establish new relationships across teams and departments
• Proficiency in English, and if you do not yet speak Danish, you have the willingness to learn
