Are you passionate about translating strategic objectives into detailed roadmaps? Can you support and execute on the strategy? Does your interest lie in maintaining the overall governance for project portfolio execution? Then you might be our next portfolio manager for IFP Manufacturing Development! The position The position offers a twofold purpose with the opportunity to translate strategic objectives into detailed plans and drive prioritization and alignment of the portfolio of projects. Combined with developing and maintaining frameworks and tools to ensure efficient and optimized project execution to benefit our organisation. Your main tasks will include:
  • Establish and maintain a transparent and prioritized overview of the planned and ongoing initiatives and TTI (KPI) tracking necessary for successful strategy delivery.
  • Prepare and facilitate strategic prioritization and decision meetings with senior management and across key areas/functions (including formulation of decision/solution scenarios to ensure focus on strategic priorities and enable efficient execution).
  • Ensure that strategic dependencies, challenges, risks and actions are managed and facilitate dialogue between key stakeholders.
  • Ongoing development and upskilling within a shared project way of working and governance across the organisation (including project model, frameworks, standards, tools, definitions, roles and responsibilities and reporting)
    • Qualifications We look for at candidate with the following qualifications, skills and background:
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or MBA degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Consistent experience within the job scope, and 4-5 years increasing responsibility within the field of establishing or driving project portfolio management offices (PMO’s) or strategy implementation for a global company
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
  • Strong analytical mind and ability to solve problems with experience in providing clarity and transparency across multiple projects and breaking down complexity into manageable components within deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • English fluency written and spoken
    • About the department In Injectable Finished Products (IFP) within Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply Division, we produce high-quality products fighting diabetes and obesity worldwide. Our department Compliance Portfolio & Business Support is a part of the sub-division named IFP Manufacturing Development that acts as a global support function for the IFP’s production sites across the globe. In IFP Manufacturing Development, we support our global IFP production sites and set the direction for new technologies, innovation, and production optimization globally. We have a strong focus on making a difference in close collaboration with the production sites by implementing novel solutions based on data-driven decisions and in accordance with GMP regulations.
